The clamav pieces for CentOS (which actually come from EPEL) are
broken up into different RPMs so, as noted, you can install what you
need. You can use the yum "whatprovides" sub-command to see the
needed RPM if some piece seems to be missing. The yum "search"
sub-command will let you find a full l

One of the other ways clamav is installed is by downloading the source and
compiling it. As clamav compiles it builds and installs the various .conf
files. However if you install clamav via yum or rpm chances are the .conf
files will not be installed but will have to be cons

Thanks, I installed the rpm with no errors but I cant seem to find clamd.conf,
isnt this included in the rpm or should I create it myself? also, the clam
daemon (clamd) is nowhere to be found?
