Hello,
Is MailFollowURLs option working for anyone?
I'm testing it with 0.92.1 and 0.93rc1 (on Linux and on Solaris) and
either one is not scanning URLs found from mails, anti-phishing code is
detecting URLs just fine.
Below is boolean options from my 0.92.1 config.
LogTime yes
LogSyslog yes
I'd like to use the MailFollowURLs option.
After turning on that option, I post an mail containing URLs.
However I can not see anything change.
The Iptables function is turned off.
Would you tell me how to use the MailFollwURLs option
and to comfirm its behavior?
Best Regards,

What about limiting the amount of URLs that will be followed
per mail or would this be a waste of time?

Hello, All!
# If an email contains URLs ClamAV can download and scan them.
# WARNING: This option may open your system to a DoS attack.
# Never use it on loaded servers.

#MailFollowURLs
How to set up a maximum file size that are downloaded by this directive?

I was trying to get MailFollowUrls to work today on a test server and
had some issues. After looking at the clamav-0.80 source code I think
that it's only possible to use this feature when you have ScanMail
enabled? Is this correct?
Currently I am using the clamav daemon that listens on a port.

Since the email parsing and hence URL following
I have the MailFollowURLS feature enabled on a low priority mail server and was
wondering if there is a way to log that a virus was found from a url.
So far it only logs the name of the virus.
Thanks,
