We don't use nscd and the bind9 runs on other machines which the
resolv.conf points to. Looking through the freshclam logs this is the
first time we have ever seen this message, at least in the last 2 months.

Is nscd running on the same host that is running freshclam?
On the host running freshclam, what does your /etc/resolv.conf look like?

Today we upgraded our DNS server which is Debian Bind9 ver 1:9.3.4-2etch1.
We also upgraded our ClamAV software to the new Version: 0.91.1-0volatile1
that came out today. Just happened that both came with new version today.
Anyway... We are getting this message in the FreshClam logs:
