Try it as,
# /usr/local/bin/freshclam
or
# locate freshclam

It has nothing to do with Plesk as you rightly said. I have got clamav
working with Plesk in almost half a dozen
Hi,
How do I make clamdscan scan files less than X bytes only?
I saw something about Clamuko but not sure what it is exactly and surely
don't want to use anyhting experimental on this server.

which cases might clamd die without cleaning the socket file.

e world should I upgrade if I will be having same problems?
I had trouble with monit when I tried with it. I got mails (alert) every
other minute even when clamd was running properly.
I had something like,
set daemon 120
set alert shantanu
[...]
check process clamd
with pidfile "/var/run/clamd
art and a fresh clamd file.
Sometimes when I have a local machine I might start clamd from
rc.local. If that time when the machine is starting, a clamd file is
present clamd won't start.
What is the solution for this?
Regards,
.
What do you guys do in this suitation other than running under daemontools?
I am more worried about the clamd socket which persist even when clamd dies.
Is there a way I can tell clamd not to look at that and what are the
disadvantages of this?
Thanks a lot.
Cheers,
Shantanu
any more ideas on what might be wrong?
Or shall I try it under daemontools instead of runit?
