[clamav-users] Re: Clamd with Clamav-Milter, Sendmail 8.12.9 timeout lockup?

Hi, I had similar problems with crashing clamd and clamav-milter on Solaris 8. In this newsgroup I was told that this is a known problem - the mail scanning engine still isn' t perfect. I was adviced not to use the milter but MailScanner (http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/) and clamscan.

.2 In clamav.conf I set MaxConnectionQueueLength to 30, MaxThreads to 50 and ThreadTimeout to 500. We have about 1000 emails a day. Any ideas? Regards Margit Meyer -- Hochschule
