I had the same problem your having - if you are still having issues -
search for the subject "ClamAV Install" dated 21/01 > 24/01
This will g

Thanks for all the help on this - I unmerged clamav and manually deleted
the copy in /usr/local/bin
Then did a "find / -name

Ok - I got confused as freshclam is telling me ClamAV install is
outdated and gives me a functionality level of 2

Hello ClamAV-Users,
I am running Clam on a Gentoo box, However the latest version is not yet
in Portage...
Does anyone know how much of a mission it would be to "un-merge" my
current .80 version and install the latest from source ?
