Hello,
I have configured an internal mirror updating through internet (proxy)
via this command "/usr/bin/freshclam
--config-file=/etc/freshclam.conf" executed every hour with cron.
My freshclam.conf contains "ScriptedUpdates yes" but I still got
daily.cld in /var/clamav/
any idea?
best regards,
Hello,
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and clamav-0.95.2 package.
When I set "ClamukoScanOnAccess yes" and "ClamukoScanOnOpen yes" in
clamd.conf, the daemon logs that message: Clamuko is not available.
Is there any another package to install ?
regards,
Fred
Hello,
I would like to test my virus protection behavior by using false
positives in clamav-0.95.2.tar.gz/test/.split
McAfee found viruses but ClamAV did not (by using clamscan)
what could be wrong ?
regards,
Fred

Hello,
I've added ClamukoScanOnOpen in my clamd.conf and clam daemon displays
"Missing argument for option at line 122" (the line where
ClamukoScanOnOpen is located) then "Can't open/parse the config file
/etc/clamav/clamd.conf". If I remove ClamukoScanOnOpen , the daemon
starts well.
Any idea ?
thanks for your answer
I would like to know, now, how to be notified if virus database is too old

I have changed owner of /etc/clamav/freshclam.conf symlink to clamav
but it does not work better. Is ClamAV able to use symlinked config
files ?
