Oops! Just saw this reply. Your suggestion looks like a good start.
I don't want to step on toes - Joel, are you running with this or would you
like me to put in a PR with something derived from Ged's suggestion?

It does seem we forgot to update the safebrowsing doc on clamav.net. This is

Fine - but I still think the documentation needs work.
We'd always love help with the documentation!
Please submit PR's to the clamav-faq project
Hi all,
It seems as though the new PNG graphics format/CVE checker added in 0.103 is
causing trouble for you and for some others. We will disable it for now, which
we can do with an update to the daily database.
Pablo, if you're allowed to share some of the PNG files with me that caused

Have you used the LogFile directive in clamd.conf? Some messages are
probably going to stderr (and maybe from there to /dev/null). You c

Dears,
I can agree with what Ged said. Running qmail/simscan/vpopmail it's only
feasible if you have enough programming language and YOU will continue
discover and do your own patches for the problems that can appear. I did
it for several years but too much is too much.

Hello,
I did some search and was able to find a few ways of doing it but I would also
like your suggestions.
I run this script from cron:
#!/bin/sh
export PATH=/usr/bin:$PATH
find /data -type f -mtime -7 >scanfiles
clamscan -f scanfiles -i
rm -f scanfiles
If you have parallel tool,

Hi Ged,
Sorry, this is on RHEL Linux 7.8.
I already have a script doing full daily scans but I want to change the
weekdays scans.
Thank you

When exactly was day 1?
Do you have any evidence that your virus scanning has ever worked at
all? Have you tried to test it e.g. by sending things like the EICAR
test file?
