I am trying to call the cl_fmap_open_handle (and other fmap related)
functions, but was having no success. It was not until I scanned the
libclamav.dll that I noticed these interfaces are not exposed. Is this
deliberate or has no one used these from the dll before?

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having this issue. Can you open a ticket on
https://bugzilla.clamav.net/ and attach one or two sample .js cache files that
are causing the problem so I could try it out?

clamd gets stuck at 100% cpu usage with
ScanOnAccess yes
OnAccessMountPath /
ScanHTML yes
Turning off ScanHTML fixes the problem.
A particular file causing the problem was a firefox cache entry
containing a .js from youtube. There seem to be a number of websites
that trigger this.
