Our system is running Linux with Sendmail-8.14.6.
Last week we upgraded ClamAV from 0.98.1 to 0.98.3 without changing
the build options :
sh ./configure --prefix= --enable-shared
--disable-experimental --enable-milter
The config files are kept unchanged too.

Hope, it can be fixed soon.

Got it to work Solaris 10/SPARC.
I spent well over a week on this, since the release of 0.98.3. After being
unable to build with any compiler on the system, I eventually figured out
that the problem was in the way openssl had been compiled - my procedures
for updating openssl and clamav have
Glad to hear. Thank you for the follow-up.

Hi,
Judging from the "clamav-virusdb" list and our log files, there
usually are a couple of database updates every day. There haven't been
any new "daily.cvd" updates since 17 May 2014 07:26 (UTC+4?), which is
by now more than 48 hours past.
Is this normal, intended?

I've built 0.98.4rc1 (with cc) and have had it running for 2 days on
Solaris 10 i386. No problems seen.
Thank you.
