For those interested, One work around that I have found is to install ClamXav http:// www.clamxav.com/ on my LOCAL machine, make a tar of the /usr/local/ clamXav directory - download that to the SERVER - untar It in /usr/local I was then able to use /usr/local/clamXav/bin/clamscan with user
