not to spread viruses I'd like to check the incoming mails by ClamAv.
Is it possible?

I run multiple AV scanners in parallel here including ClamAV and F-Prot.
It's extremely rare that F-Prot
We've been running f-prot on Imail/Windows. No problems, no users
reporting email viruses.
But the content-scanning on Imail has been really bogging the box down.
So we set up an amavis/spamassassin/ClamAV content-scanning box in
front of the Imail box, with the intention of turning off f-prot
