May I ask, what for? I run clamd here and I never even see it on my top list.

I'm thinking it could be possible to split the virus databases up to email and
non email-borne virii for those of us who are simply using clamav for
scanning emails on the server, so that we're not needlessly try
Can someone using amavisd in FreeBSD 5.x in a chroot please show me their
startup script? I cannot for the life of me get the amavisd.sh script from
the port to work.

I use qmailscanner1.22+clamav0.74 .
"freshclam" 8:00am every day.
after 8:00 02 Jul 2004,i receive a lot of virus mail,they do not working...
but i use "#clamscan file" it can found virus..,
then i copy clamav_0.74/database/daily.cvd(29 Jun 2004) to /usr/local/share/clamav
i'm curious as to the interest "out there" in a GUI front end (prob'ly something
simple like APplescript Studio) to ClamAV for OSX ...
i'm thinking of a combo pkg installer + user config + virus update management, with the goal
being complete replacement of Virex/Sophos/Norton for the "average de
