Hello,
How do you get a more descriptive log instead of just the summary? I ran a
scan and summary said 5 infected files but I don't know which or with what
virus. Also, is Eicar-test-signature ok or is it a virus? Thanks.

Not sure what I would do with such files.
Norton does not detect a virus sig. in the files on my system, which
makes me wonder whether they are being detected wrongly.

Check docs/FreeBSD-HowTo/qmail-scanner-how-to.html
Test by mailing the included testviruses to the server.
Don't use clamd with 0.54 and FreeBSD use latest snap instead.

Hello,
I have FreeBSD 4.7, Squirrelmail 1.2.12cvs(virtual domains), Courier-imap
1.4.4., Qmail 1.03, and I just installed Clamav 0.54. I followed the user
manual up to the 3.0 section and then it kind of lost me. I have clamd
running, I have the updates working, and the logs work. How do I know if
The files which i submitted to the virus ml. These files are detected by
norton as Js.Fortnight.

Hi,
Is there any function in the libclamav library for remove one attachment ?
The thing I want to do is if I found an infected attachent into an email
message, remove the infected file, but allow the email message pass without
the infected files.
Is it possible ?
Greetings.

Hi,
Looking at the source code of the libclamav library I have seen that in the
mbox.c file appears the next define:
#define MAX_ATTACHMENTS 10
Is this the maximum number of attachments that will be extracted from an email
with the cl_mbox() function ?
If the answer is yes, how may I change it t

Hi,
What is the configure option --enable-bigstack for ?
If I use this option, will the scan functions of the libclamav library make
its work more quick ?

I'm not totally convinced.
The files reporting the Exploit.IFRAME.Generic virus are Mozilla cache
files from Dec 2001 (archived data) and were "OK" last week.
Now I have over a dozen of them.
Norton does not find a virus in the same files.

Great
It will be very usefull for me.
I believe that it will be a good idea to add this to the libclamav
documentation.
Another question: which are the return codes of the cl_mbox() function ?
Greetings.

It does. ls, dir, whatever so something isn't working.
I can't compile the clamav-milter on this system - the make process doesn't
compile that or clamd, as specified in my previous post. I'd like to
understand (and possibly fix) the problem.

I'm not sure what "ls *" does. I thought ls doesn't take an argument in ftp speak.
