I realised as the database gets bigger it requires more. I am using 16mb now

I have just moved to 0.50 from 0.24, and am now getting the following after
the scan:
/home/e-smith/files/users/brianr/home/bjr/backup.zip: Mid/Kakworm-Z FOUND
The filename is obviously truncated (why?), but is probably one of 5 files,
3 of which are gifs, and the other two are Eudora mbx/toc f

Yes, it works. The softlimit should be about 10 Mb.

tonight I first tried to use oav-update to update my viruses.db. All
goes well, but when I poke clamav to use the new viruses.db file, this
is my output :
