Used latest version of chirp for win10 to add channels my new radio It will
not scan in channel mode. It only scans channel 1,2 and 3. Even tho chirp
uploaded 117 channels into radio. Any help would be appreciated

Are you suggesting that you filled in the skip column appropriately and
that the image Chirp sent to the radio doesn't work properly for those
channel settings?

Actually I didnt do anything with the skip column. I imported some of chirps
preloaded frequencies like the weather channels and frs and murs freq. the
radio only scans a few channels. Does the “S” in the skip mean “scan” or
skip? That may be my issue

i get the impression from looking at the driver code that *"S"* on the
Chirp side means *SKIP* this channel during a scan operation. The Chirp
value is set in the Radio as '1' ON for scan, and '0' OFF for skip I
believe.
It's always possible that the meanings get mixed up; that is a long
explana
I designated all the weather Chanel’s to “s”under skip and the results occur.
I sent the retailer (two way radio” in sc the chirp saved file and they got it
upload and scan perfectly. Really weird
