That's because Chirp doesn't support digital modes.
Same with the Yaesu FT-70 support.
However, if you program DN using Yaesu's software or the buttons, Chirp doesn't
delete it.

That model is not on the supported radios list on the CHIRP website.

Everything seems O.K, Install O.K , Read Radio O.K...
But there is NO "DN" or "AMS" on the Mode drop down list
