Repeaterbook is a world-wide database. That being said, it is a voluntary information contribution effort for all of the entries. If someone provides them the data, it's in their listings. If no one pro-actively provides the information to them, then it's not in their database. On Sun, Jan 8, 2023

I think I'm right in saying that in most of the world, repeater databases are not available. Only in North America is this so. On Sun, 8 Jan 2023 at 23:22, Joseph via chirp_users < chirp_users@intrepid.danplanet.com> wrote: > > What you said is correct but for importing analog only repeaters no

I agree, most PMR, commercial and amateur programming software is, and always has been poor for decades. This is where CHIRP has been brilliant over the years in bringing us a cross platform solution. DMR though has a relational structure which is inherently far more difficult to reverse engineer I

You can do a Repeaterbook search on their website and include/exclude whatever types of repeaters you want. Then export that list into a CHIRP formatted file, which is an option, and then import that file into CHIRP. All done. On Sun, Jan 8, 2023 at 4:22 PM Joseph via chirp_users < chirp_users@int

I wish that we could get support on some of the more common DMR radios. The crap they use under the name of CPS is at best a joke and most of them time a horror story, and only Windows based. I know that you guys have your hands full but us DMR folks can still dream... On Sun, Jan 8, 2023 at 3:23

The ability to select digital Mode c4fm system fusion repeaters for example from repeater book queries imported within chirp will be a fantastic feature. Thank you, Joseph [image: GeoTrack]

the Yaesu official software does program digital into the FT-70. this radio isn't buttons only as I have a program digital with Yaesu official software but I like chirp way better as chirp is missing the very important feature for FT-70 to program digital. Thank you, Joseph [image: GeoTrack]

Chirp doesn't recognise ANY digital repeaters and doesn't program the digital side of any radio. Come to that, the Yaesu official software doesn't program digital contacts into the FT-70. That radio seems to be buttons only. > On 08/01/2023 12:19 EST Joseph via chirp_users > wrote: > > > Chi
