When you switch the radio back on it comes up on which ever channels it was
displaying when you switched it off.

The Abbree AR F8 has this concept, but as far as I can tell, it just stores
the current A and B channel setting. So you can program it from Chirp, but
once you change channel, that register is updated and will be remembered
during power cycles.

Have just set up my UV-5RE Plus with relevant channels and settings but
one that is causing me a bit of a head scratcher in the Work Mode
Settings is the MR A Channel and MR B Channel.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this but I set these two fields up to hold
