The 8900 does not have banks. Also, the 8800 can have separate programming on
the left and right sides, but the 8900 only has one set of memories. One side
can do all 4 bands, the other side can only do uhf and vhf. You can read about
the differences in the 8800 and 8900 manuals. So, basically,
I have a FT-8800 which I have programmed with Chirp. Work mostly fine. I
recently purchased an FT-8900 and downloaded the settings from the radio and
found that there are no Banks tab, or right memory tab, or Settings tab,
which are also missing from the FT-8800 page.

it's ok for frequencies , but it makes no effect for settings ( squelch ,
range , etc)
this is a special thing to do?

Every built I do for Fedora has to sit in updates-testing for a week before
I can push to stable and for EPEL 7 (CentOS/SL/RHEL,etc) has to sit in
testing for two weeks.
