I am trying to use ceph-deploy to deploy my cluster but it tries to
download the rpms which i don't want, however what i want is using
ceph-deploy to use my local git repo.
I have compiled the code and did "make install" but starting monitor from

Hi All,
I am trying to create a cluster. Monitor , osds everything is up and
running.
root@localhost ceph-config]# ceph osd lspools
0 data,1 metadata,2 rbd,3 mypool,
I created "mypool" and then trying the command "rados put test-1
testfile.txt --pool=mypool" but this will never returns.
How t
if that is the case we always endup choosing the same osd from the list
or will the pg number be used as seed for the hashing so that r value
changes in the next iteration.
Am I missing something really basic ??
