I am planning to use it in production as a filesystem. We have close to
350TB of data and I don't want it to be in jeopardy. When looking at the
documentation, I see in bold stating the filesystem should be used for
production data so I was concerned.
I suppose I will wait a bit long
My distribution is still in 2.6 series so I won't be upgrading the kernel
anytime soon. Does ceph source code have the ability to choose the kernel
headers and build the module against that?

Is there any requirement that the monitors have to be on the same subnet as
each other, and/or the osd public network? It's going to simplify things
greatly if I can move them progressively.

They need to be able to send messages to each other, but routing can work
however you like.
