hi,
i have setup a 3 -Node Ceph cluster and now I want to add
a new node with some osds.
I have arranged my setup like this (from the ceph.conf)
...
[osd.41]
host = ceph-test4-intern
addr = 192.168.76.4
[osd.42]
host = ceph-test4-intern
addr = 192.168.76.4
[osd.43

Hello,
Two question about SWIFT & RadosGW
At this time i've got no official information but it seems that
temporary urls are not supported by the RGW
My first question is: does the SWIFT temporary url feature will be
implemented?
Or is it a workarou
We set up a small ceph cluster of three nodes on top of an OpenStack
deployment of three nodes (that is, each compute node was also an
OSD/MON node). Worked great until we started to expand the ceph
cluster once the OSDs started to fill up. I added 4 OSDs two days ago
and the recovery went smooth
You can't specify the OSD id in the latest versions of the code; you just
have to take what the monitor gives back to you. :)

Hello All,
I've made some progress, but I'm still having a bit of difficulty.
I've got all my monitors responding now, I had to break my openvswitch
configuration as ceph was trying to start, but since ovs doesn't start
networking until the os is up, the monitors were unable to communicate with

Thanks Josh. That explains. So I guess right now with Grizzly, you can only use
one rbd backend pool (assume with different cephx key for different pool) on a
single Cinder node unless you are willing to modify cinder-volume.conf and
restart cinder service all the time.
