but I had this problem recently, with a linux firewall between cephfs client
and cluster
the problem was easy to reproduce with
#firewall is enable with
iptables -A FORWARD -m conntrack --ctstate INVALID -j DROP
iptables -A FORWARD -m conntrack --ctstate RE
