Hello again (marvel at my elephantine memory and thread necromancy) Firstly, this happened again, details below. Secondly, as I changed things to sysv-init AND did a "/etc/init.d/ceph stop" which dutifully listed all OSDs as being killed/stopped BEFORE rebooting the node. This is completely new
