Hi Carlos, Can you please open a Ceph Tracker issue ? We'd need the release/environment/config details, so that we can reproduce and troubleshoot this. Thanks! CCing Tatjana, as she was involved in recent changes to the Dashboard FQDN addre

[ceph-users] Re: unable to calc client keyring: No matching hosts for label

2022-08-02 Thread Adam King
It's possible there's a bug in cephadm around placements where hosts have the _no_schedule label. There was https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/56972 recently for an issue with how _no_schedule interacts with placements using explicit hostnames. It might be something similar here where it thinks there'

Ah, too bad!  I suppose that was too easy. :) Ok, so my two lines of thought: 1) Something related to the weird performance issues we ran into on the PM983 after lots of fragmented writes over the drive.  I think we've worked around that with the fix in quincy, but perhaps you are hitting a

[ceph-users] Quincy + CephAdm, Zeroing weights of OSDs in crushmap

2022-08-02 Thread Daniel Williams
I recently moved to quincy and cephadm. I noticed that when I moved some drives from one machine to another they at some point got marked as weight 0 in the crushmap. The first time that was fine, I just fixed it and figured it was something I did wrong with moving the drives. The second time it h

[ceph-users] RGW Bucket Retrieval Notifications

I do not see a notification event for when objects are retrieved from a S3 bucket. Are there any other options available to grab this information easily? We are looking to use this information for internal audit reporting/dashboards. I see it can be parsed out of the log files, but I'm hop
