the osd would need to be recreated(as you noted).

Kaleb, see https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/33716. hopefully we can
get in the next release or probably you could include this patch in
the rpm pack
This bluestore_min_alloc_size_ssd=4K, do I need to recreate these osd's?
Or does this magically change? What % performance increase can be
expected?
