We have our object storage endpoint fqdn DNS round robining to 2 IP's.
Those 2 IP's are managed by keepalived across 3 servers running
haproxy where each haproxy instance is listening on each round robin'd
IP and then load balanced to 5 servers running radosgw.

Hi,
Isn't this the same issue reported in https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/45252
which was fixed on v15.2.5?
Which ceph version are you using?

All;
We've used iSCSI to support virtualization for a while, and have used
multi-pathing almost the entire time. Now, I'm looking to move from our single
box iSCSI hosts to iSCSI on Ceph.
We have 2 independent, non-routed, subnets assigned to iSCSI (let's call them

Hi,
yes, I have read https://docs.ceph.com/docs/octopus/cephadm/stability/
and know that the iSCSI support is still under development.
But why is the command "ceph orch apply iscsi" available
when cephadmin is the orchestrator backend?
I am at the stage that I successfully rolled out an iSCSI ga
We have continued to troubleshoot this issue and have now isolated the
issue to be only with multipart uploads with partsizes (or chunk
sizes) that are 16777217 bytes or larger.
Does anyone know if there is a setting or restriction somewhere that
might be causing rgw to return error 500?

Hi,
Wido had an idea in a different thread [1], you could try to advise
the OSDs to compact at boot:
[osd]
osd_compact_on_start = true
Can you give that a shot?
Wido also reported something about large OSD memory in [2], but noone
commented yet.

Eugen
