imap server (cyrus-imap in my case) to authenticate users:

Sorry to say that but AVG is the worst antivirus I know ... 3 virus
alerts, 3 times AVG see nothing...
It's better to look at Kaspersky, F-Secure , Antivir or Clamav ..
