Same Problem here, the harddrive (2.5" Samsung HM121HC) running with
Kernel 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5 (x86_64) produces errors on high load.
With one step back kernel the errors are gone. Im already changed the
harddrive with a new one, same errors on the newest kernel.

Can confirm that issue but currently only on my i386 boxes. The x86_64
updates fine to 6.2.

im going crazy. I have one ATA disc with CentOS 5.2 and LVM, the LVM
structure is:
--- Logical volume ---
LV Name/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00
LV Name/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01
Here comes the challende, i need to clone that ATA disc to a SATA disc.
