As far as i know you don't need to change anything in your xorg.conf. if
you have any horizontal / vertical sync settings (Hz) in your conf you
can remove them. DVI is digital and don't need them.

Hello all, and my apologies for the late answer, but as I "fixed" this
I had to patch other problems until this week...
TL;DR : I did fix the problem by "brute force", but don't really know what
happened. See bottom of email for more details.

o it was a driver issue! the install kernel
is not exactly the normal linux kernel i think.
if anaconda just says that it cannot find install image, etc. the system
has no connectivity at this time.

"Stuck"... I'm working with a remote instance through terminal
services into a VM running on Microsoft Hyper-V... The mouse didn't
work at all, but yum has that all fixed up now.

you have a syntax error in the second if. The yum update is being
executed every time. Move the fi just before the else to the end.
