[CentOS] Nightly yum update did an "upgrade"

Hy there, i have a centos (4.?) Box with nightly yum update enabled. Last night, it did an upgrade to 4.7 leading to several problem i.e. not respawning the dhcrelay, which is needed on this box. Can I control the update policy not to upgrade to new releases in the nightly updates? I would li

Ok, i only tried "upgrade" once manually to get another box from centos4.4 to a 4.5 ( and I ran into this http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=2557 ) and thought, the difference between update and upgrade is like the debian based "apt-get upgrade" and "apt-get dist-upgrade". The man page states t
