[CentOS] Replacing SW RAID-1 with SSD RAID-1

Hi, I want to replace my hard drives based SW RAID-1 with SSD's. What would be the recommended procedure? Can I just remove one drive, replace with SSD and rebuild, then repeat with the other drive? Thanks Frank -- ___ CentOS mailing list CentO

[CentOS] How to reset the USB subsystem?

Hi, my USB connected printer goes into deep space from time to time probably due to a HW problem on the MoBo. Is there a way how to reset the USB subsystem the same way one can restart networking or X without the necessity to reboot? Thanks Frank -- __

[CentOS] Centos 7: Notification of available updates in KDE?

Hi, I recently upgraded from CentOS 5 to 7. I have been running KDE. In version 5, if there was a pending update, an icon would appear in the panel, notifying about the update. There is no such icon in CentOS 7 - KDE 4. Is there a way to get this very convenient function? Thanks Frank --
