Hello,
During a reposync of the centos base mirror, how come there are more
packages downloaded than the iso file contains...
The iso's Packages directory contains 3956 rpm packages.
The reposync of base holds 6381 rpm packages.
This was done using centos's default yum repo file
[base]
name=Cen
Nevermind, I never included the packages from
CentOS-6.4-x86_64-bin-DVD2.iso.

Greetings,
Not sure if this is the correct mail list.
I have the following test environment set up:
- 1x ipa master = ipa1.example.com
- 1x nfs server = nfs1.example.com
- 1x nfs client = nfsclient1.example.com
NFS version 4 is used and the appropriate Kerberos principal has been
created in IPA:
Hi,
Does anyone know why an Anaconda Kickstart installation deploys more rpm
packages than a manual "basic" installation?
In both cases the following package groups were installed/used according
to anaconda-ks.cfg in root home directory: @core, @server-policy,
@workstation-policy

I'm not sure if I understand you fully, you mean the note about package
selection not being available in text mode?

Is network manager available during Gnome login?
Users (using laptops etc) need to authenticate and login having their home
directory on NFS using autofs.
However this is not possible when there is no valid network connection
present; either using Wireless LAN or VPN

Whats the new way of creating sha512 passwords in EL7?
In Centos6 I used grub-crypt but that does not exist anymore.

e commands are executed
one after the other, serially.
If any of those commands (not prefixed with "-") fail, the rest are
not executed and the unit is considered failed.

but that too did not work: no network communication.
Does macvtap not work with wlan interfaces? Or am I doing something wrong.
I am using centos 6.3, with kvm, libvirt and virt-manager, have not
used any none standard repository for installation or updates.
