Hello to all,
I'm currently studying (and collecting notes here
https://github.com/fdicarlo/RHCSA_cs) for RHCSA. My plan is to RHCSA
-> RHCE and then RHCSS.
What I want to ask you is:
- What do you think about it?
- Did you find it useful?
- Do you have any advices?
Best regards,
Fabrizio

RHCSA gives good opportunity to learn all basics on Redhat Linux. Good to
start with this.
Thanks

In Centos 6.5, I am getting the message in the log file every few minutes:
NetworkManager: Trying to start the supplicant...
There is no wireless on that computer, but there are two NICs,
because it is my home gateway. Is there some tweak that can prevent
this message?

It will probably be the same elsewhere, because they are CHEAP. I've used a
few NZ Telco supplied routers over the years and a couple of cheap bought
ones. All had some issue or the other. Nowadays I put up with or workaround
any issues.
Cheers,

Yes, RHCSA is good start. You should buy this book:

If I recall this was about a CentOS mirror in Iran and the new export
restrictions prohibit that.

There are no *new* export restrictions. You're just now aware of them.
It's the US gubmint that puts those restrictions, not RedHat,
I say "new" because the original email referred to what I believe was
about an existing CentOS mirror in Iran. This prompted me to look at the
CentOS website and I found the export restrictions to which the email
was referring. Then I looked at the Fedora project website and found the
same restrict

That's the point though. If "you" (for generic values of "you") export
code under US legal restriction from the US then you're in breach of
US regulations. Whether
Jangs book is really thorough, but if you ask me, it's too big.
I studied for approx. 5 weekends and never made it half way through the
book, due to it being so long and covering way to much. Eg. it covers
sendmail and postfix setup, while postfix is the default. Red Hat's course
only covers postfi
