I had an old usb device that did not "disconnect" properly...
It is not in mtab; but there is a /dev/sdg1 "phantom" device...
I removed the usb_storage module and it solved the problem.

but that apparently did not work since it asks
me to save it the next time I run the command.

email under sendmail running the spamass milter? Some of our Vhost
accounts are getting flagged as spam on the way out due to being on a

Rudi is right, the easiest/fastest thing to do is to just add the new
partition to the pv and expand your lvs as you see fit. But if someone
ever wants to resize a pv I have done it on some vm hosts. It a touch

BTW, I *hope* you meant CentOS 5.3?! Lots of changes, enhanced security,
etc. are included. You ought to upgrade if you haven't and have no
compelling reason to freeze on 5.2. IF you do, good luck with the
additional workload and concerns that may be caused.

It completed. I then transferred the ISO file to an XP machine, use
Sonic to burn the ISO file to another CD, and there was a file missing

and the config directory and the files are all
mode 700 for security:

There's a debian specific flag for ssh called 'ServerTimeOut' which
allows ssh to give up if no data from the server
is received for the specified number of seconds.
