With local com ports I can use stty to inspect the port settings.
Is there a similiar method with a socket connection?

Hello
I have previously used Centos 4.x in runlevel 3, when I plug in my usb
storage device/cd in cd-rom, it is shown under /media, for example
/media/MyUsbStick.
Now in Centos 5.2, when I insert usb storage device, nothing is shown
under /media (runlevel 3). When I have runlevel 5 and X running,

Interestingly, I stopped irqbalance yesterday afternoon and it ran

Hello.
I'm using my laptop (an Acer Aspire 3680, with built-in Atheros wifi). I
installed 5.2 on it, and it's working nicely. But, I have an issue with
the keyring. I should mention that this is my *first* experience with
keyrings.
When I set up the wifi, it stated basically that "nm-applet wan

cheers

No, the QLE2462 HBA is a fiber channel HBA, not a Fiber ethernet
card. Co

Nate, Ross. Thanks for the information. I now understand the difference.
Ross: I cant ditch MSSS since it is a government purchase, so I *must* use
it until something breaks and budget is assigned and maybe in 2 years we can
buy something else. the previous boss purchased this equipment and i gues
