Let me add that an effort to make sure EPEL is compatible with RPMforge
failed as EPEL wants to become the only repository for RHEL and there is

Thanks Johnny,
I dont think there is Internet access on the boxes I have to deal with.
What I am trying to get to grips with is the problems described here:

Although actually the hardware is different and I will be using centos
Dumb question.
Can't we identify the source of the package by looking at the signature.

Yes.. but there isnt a tool that comes up with it, and there are too
many people who do not have enough training to answer this question.
They may hav
Hmm. We need a tool that creates repotags from signatures.
Sounds like it should be a small easy project. Hope it inspires
somebody. I'm too slow.

CentOS3.9 Users:
After applying all Updates to Upgrade from CentOS 3.8 CentOS 3.9 I find
up2date no longer works "correctly" (or shall I say NOT as before)...
Missing is the "sources" File!!! Is this how V 4.5.5-7 is supposed to be
or is the "sources" File omission an "error"???

iscsi-initiator-utils to see the DS300. I thinked the
syncronicing no is normal, but how you say than this
is a normal behaviour, then no problem. I thinked my
data is lost for the syncronicing. Sorry for my

Try running a pae enabled kernel - it might help (I'm not sure what the
package name for centos is 'bigmem' or something like that maybe - as in
kernel-bigmem-$VERSION).
(or even better a 64-bit x86_64/amd64 kernel if the cpu supports it).
