If RHEL/CentOS : centosplus repo contains postfix-mysql.

is there a driver disk available for the LSI 1064e SAS controller,
operating in software raid mode? This Controler is installed on the
Intel SR1500ALSAS for example, and named here Intel Embedded Software
RAID II. I found drivers for RHEL4 and SUSE 10, but not for CentOS5?

Vmware server is perfectly content on either CentOS 4 or 5 as host
operating system. I guess in this case it will simply be a matter of
preference.

How does clustering relate to virtual hosts under xen? Can you make a 2
host failover cluster as the xen dom0 and have it take care of the
guests or would you build 2 independent xen hosts and configure guests
as failover clusters? Or is there some other approach?

was not identified as having a volume group
maybe i lost both disks - hda and hdb - doesn't seem likely; more likely that i

If you login via GUI, it doesn't read/load you /etc/profile so user doesn't
inherit the variable set on that, I forget where to specifically put it but
it's set on Xxxxstartup something, also try to set it on bashrc as it's
being read even on GUI login.
