I have already tested this Wordpress plugin a few months ago (on
CentOS 5.4 x86_64 with EPEL's Wordpress).
I needed to fiddle a bit with the UI, but quickly got an LDAP
integration working.
As whether it is 100% secure

I believe Serendipity (s9y) has ldap and some other authentication
plugin
