What I mean is the shutdown option that you have at the GUI screen before
login.
In other words, I would like to prevent anyone from shutting down my
system before logging in.

Luciano,
The reason why I'm using the absolute is simply because the default X
settings (Starnet X-Win32)are setup that way, and as it works fine on Red
Hat...
Anyhow, I now know what to do !!
