Remote box keeps reverting the localtime to Eastern (America/New_York). cd /etc rm localtime && ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC localtime fixes it - but it seems to revert from time to time, I presume from yum updates (or possibly an init script ??) In /etc/sysconfig there is a config file for it

I got the DKMS-system working and now have the Nvidia-drivers v173.08 installed (using rpmforge as suggested previously). Unfortunately this particular driver version gives me screen artifacts so as to make the screen more or less unreadable. Nvidia's proprietary drivers are now up to v180.44 a
