sufficient functionality that meets our minimalistic requirements.
I have to admit I am not sure whether PocketIE is really what we
have at hand, but there is no About Box.

What you want to do is a bit crazy, it's not that easy with Visual and I
don't know if it
's a good idea to add some issues with cegcc.
In addition PocketIE is really a bad browser and except for very simple
HTML page, you never have a good
rendering...

I finally got it! There is a *small* difference between the
*cegcc-mingw32ce* and *cegcc-cegcc* versions.
Since I misread by SourceForge's download page I had started with
the cegcc-cegcc version, that needed the additional *.dll files. Silly
me (blush)!

After some brain-dead problems on my side I got a working
installation of CeGCC on my Ubuntu laptop.
Now to the work at hand:
I need to develop a small (or not so small) ActiveX control for
PocketIE (or whatever IE there is at the device), that would allow
embedding in a web page
