As ESRF users, and also meeting Raimond in many courses and congresses since
the 90s’, here we are also very saddened by these news.
He was brilliant and very helpful.

Very, very sad news.
He had always so much enthusiasm, good nature and friendliness that it
was pure joy to work with him on using radiation damage as a source of
small differences to use for phasing. He will be sadly missed!
