Hi,
Using MARCO database we trained DNN model for crystals image
classification. It works a bit worse than MARCO (93% vs. 94%) but from
other hand - it is easier to use by normal user (just need a web
browser) and should be faster in general.
Maybe somebody would be interested: https://xtal.onlin
Dear colleagues,
I would like to draw your attention to an upcoming webinar to be presented
by Janet Newman, Ph.D. titled "When you need a challenge, try protein
crystallisation: Tips and suggestions for helping you over the hurdles."
Janet currently runs theBio21 Collaborative Crystallisation Cen
Have you ever tried the condition of AS as precipitant and PEG as the
additive? They have opposite functions on your protein's solubility:one
increases and decrease it. Maybe you can vary the ratio of them to
control your protein's solubility. And the xtals may be seen in some
conditions.

Dear All,
I have several proteins that share a common problem. When crystallization,
once the precipitant is PEG, the protein will be precipitated in seconds.
Even the protein concentration is just 2 mg/ml. But if the precipitant is
salt such as NH2SO4. The drop is clear for months, even high
Dear colleagues,
I would like to bring the following associate principal scientist
position in protein crystallization at Roche Nutley, NJ to your
attention.
Job description & responsibilities:
The candidate's main responsibility will be the design and execution of
protein crystallization
Hi all
I am dealing with a protein which size is about 200kDa. Due to the impurity and
degradation problem, the protein has gone thru 3 purification steps (affinity
column > ion exchange column > gel filtration column). The buffer condition for
the last step of purification was 50mM MOPS pH7.0
