Hi,
I should qualify my previous post about the Torrey Pines incubators with
one important detail. The one we bought that did not work well for us
was purchased in 2008 (long before Molecular Dimensions started carrying
the product). That was a long time ago. It may be working quite well now
Hi,
Our experience was the opposite. Ours did not work well and completely
broke soon after. This incubator quickly turned into the largest door
stop in the lab. I'm sure ours was just a lemon, but I thought I'd still
mention it to warn others.
I am still interested in hearing what models of
We use wine refrigerators. Peltier cooling, no compressor, no vibrations,
cheap. They look nice too. But they can't cool to 4C.

Dear Ulrike,
Molecular dimensions incubator model MD5-601 works pretty good in our lab.
-Peltier type
-low vibration
-fully programmable up to 99 days

Hi everybody,
I want to buy a smaller incubator for protein crystallization (30-50 l). Do you
have any recommendations ? Do you prefer specialized incubator models with low
vibration or are you just using standard incubators ?
Best wishes,
Ulrike
Dear All
We are interested in purchasing an incubator for storing
crystallization plates (limbro, SBS and Douglas microbatch plates)
@ 4 or 20 degrees.
Any information regarding incubators with low humidity, limited
vibration.. will be helpful.
Thanks
