Dear colleagues,
We have data from a twinned crystal (merohedral twinning with fraction of 0.71)
for which we want to see the anomalous map. Could you please guide me how to
calculate it using the i2? Running refinement with REFMAC5 with merohedral
twinning does not allow simultaneous generation
So here is a new one, I seem to have an oily substance at the end of our Oxford
Cryostream. It is greenish in color and I honestly have no idea where it may
be originating from. The tubes leading into the head look clean. I first
noticed it on the paddle I use to block it when mounting crysta

Hi Phoebe -
Your email got me wondering about this as well, so over the weekend I
downloaded BioViewer (simple and relatively intuitive, few customizable
options), and iMolview (more complex user interface, with more
information—e.g. sequence, chain IDs—and more granular control of
representation)
Dear all,
A postdoctoral position is available in the lab focussed on understanding the
role and mechanism of ESCRT-III-like membrane remodelling proteins in bacteria
(for example https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34166615/). Core techniques will
include cryoEM SPA and tomography. The position is
