B-PER is basically two components: 1. ~0.5% octyl-beta-thioglucopyranoside 2. 25 mM TRIS pH 7.5 A while ago when I priced out the detergent separately the bulk price came up to be about the same as the price of pre-made B-PER from Pierce. So I did not bother to check it out any further. Of course
