They seem to have a finite life-time: we had two of these, bought at
the same time, self-immolate the way you describe within months of
another, after ~5 years of good service.
We asked TW about it and they said it would cost more to get it fixed
than just get a new one -- then again, they wo
Dear All,
this year I have chaperoned 2 items of community concern onto the agenda

Hi, everyone
Sorry for a non-ccp4 question. I am running a superose 6 PG XK 16/70 column
from GE. But I can not find any technical information about this column,
such as dead volumn, whole column volumn, etc, on the website of GE. Is

Dear ccp4bb,
We have a *Taylor-Wharton *CX100 Dry shipper Dewar that has lost it's vacuum
insulation. The vacuum sealing plug "popped out" of the valve (standard 30mm
diameter).
Has anyone found a vacuum adapter that fits so that one can re-establish
vacuum insulation at "home"?
I would ideally
Hi Lori,
If you want to get the contribution of a metal ion you have to take the
metal co-ordination into account, so you need to know the fold. A
theoretical pI becomes quite useless, so you'd have to do an IEF gel or
something like that to get your answer.

I will always remember his singing. I still has the booklet with songs that he
collected years ago and wonder if it will ever be published for the
crystallographic community. Those evenings of singing with Lodovico were
wonderful and jolly celebrations of life.
