The old Icom 703 is good. Used it during Uri Ice Storm. Could get into DFW on
7290. Easy on battery. And has ant. impedence tuner. Size of the 706 series.
But I think it is more sturdy platform than the 705.
If I need more power, can use an Italian amp and LDG tuner. If I can make

sideband, plus 6 and 10, so those with tech can join into some fun. Ant. Tuner
is good. And Icoms pull back power if the SWR is off. Dominic Mazoch N5TCB

Good idea.. Except for one thing. This makes FOUR nets that I can think of
on THE SAME DAY AT THE SAME TIME. Is it possible to spread out the start times
of thse nets over 30 minute intervals? Or is 2000 dtart time some "rule" out

Maybe the all club idea may work for another reason. Houston is so ANATHEMA
big.
I can see the spring big meet in Rosenberg.
But for somebody in Conroe, you might as well go to the moon.
Maybe some small meets. Some on the Northside. We do have Baytown and Orange

I was watching a vid from Ham Radio 2.0. Jason and Giga Parts seem to be
